Get the game

Download for your device, drop in your own ROM on first launch, and log in with your account. That's it — no other installs.

⚠️ Launch "Play PokeServer" — do NOT open PokeMMO.exe.
Opening PokeMMO directly connects you to the official servers, where your account here doesn't exist (you'll get "invalid username/password"). Use the Play PokeServer launcher in the unzipped folder. You'll know you're in the right place when the server list shows a single server named OpenMMO.

iPhone install — read this (no jailbreak, free)

iPhones can't install .ipa files directly, so you "sideload" with a free tool. Easiest is AltStore — it can even re-sign the app on-device every 7 days so it never expires.

Fastest path (AltStore):

Install AltStore on your phone (altstore.io — free).
Tap this on your phone: Add PokeServer to AltStore
In AltStore → Browse → PokeServer → Free Download. Sign in with your Apple ID when asked (a throwaway one is fine).
Open PokeServer, pick your own ROM when prompted, log in with your portal account.

Or Sideloadly (from a computer): grab the PokeServer.ipa, drop it into Sideloadly (sideloadly.io), enter your Apple ID, install.

Free Apple IDs cap you at 3 sideloaded apps and require a re-sign every 7 days (AltStore automates this). Nothing here needs a paid Apple developer account.
